Common questions
-
t’s an opportunity to tell me more about your little one’s sleep challenges and I will let you know how I can help. We can talk through my packages, including how I work. It’s a chance to see if we are a good fit and it’s absolutely no obligation to book with me.
-
Most families start to see progress within 3-5 days, with families reaching their goal within 2 weeks.
If you are wanting to take a gentler approach (I call the approach Baby Steps) then progress can take longer. -
In most cases, yes. We are changing what your baby has been used to, so a little protest can be very normal.
My approach is always responsive. I never recommend leaving a baby to cry themselves to sleep, and I wouldn’t ask you to do something I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing with my own children.
Most crying tends to happen in the first couple of days while your baby adjusts, so this can often be the hardest part. There is always a plan B if your baby doesn’t settle, and I will step you through exactly what to do.
-
Yes you can. During the consultation I will explain how keeping it or removing the dummy impacts sleep and build a plan for what feels right.
-
Yes of course, I love doing corporate talks and looking after employees wellbeing. Get in touch and we can discuss your requirement and how we can bring better sleep through baby sleep coaching to your company.
-
We take a step back from any sleep coaching. Your WhatsApp support will pause and we pick things back up when everyone is well.
-
It helps when both parents join the initial consultation call so that you can be on the same page and be consistent with the approach to improving sleep. It’s not essential, but it can help. One parent can lead the sleep coaching.
-
We create a plan together that works for you and your little one, that might mean keeping feeds or reducing them gradually. Your Sleep Plan will include a night feeding plan, so you’ll know exactly what to do.
-
Having a clear diary for a week when you first start sleep coaching is ideal.
Your little one being able to nap in their cot for the first week means you can be more consistent and you see quicker progress.
